Born 30 June 1983 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the dazzlingly sexy Cheryl Tweedy, also known as Cheryl Cole, began her star-studded career in 2002 when she charmed the judges of the TV talent show Popstars: The rivals.
She became the first contestant to be selected as part of the famous girl band "Girls Aloud."
After having made a sparkling start in the music business, in 2009 the brunette left the band to embark on a solo career.
That October, she released her first solo album, 3 Words, in which she teamed up with the famous Will.i.am to produce a single of the same name. Rocketed to the ranks of international star, the highly-driven singer released her second album a year later in October 2010.
The fresh-faced and alluring Cheryl Cole was soon recognised as one of the most beautiful women on the planet, and in 2009 was named by FHM (UK) as the world's sexiest woman.
She won this same title in the US version of the magazine in 2010. Her big, round eyes and huge, sexy hair did not go unnoticed by L'Oréal who, in 2009, added her to the list of brand ambassadors.
Having proven her talent on the big stage, in September 2008, Cheryl set out to do the same on the small-screen alongside Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh as an XFactor judge and mentor. It was also rumoured that she would succeed Michael Mcintyre as a judge in the 2012 edition of Britain's Got Talent.
