Why should I wear lilac nail varnish?

Beauty trends for summer 2012 have been full of surprises, not least when it comes to nail polish! Lately we've seen fluorescent shades, pastels and even black varnish on fingers and toes everywhere.

The latest shade we've taken a shine to is lilac! It's the ideal summer colour, delicate and light, it will add a touch of sunshine to your look, even if you're holding an umbrella...

Why lilac?

This colour goes with almost anything: jeans, your favourite little black dress, bright colours. For your hands, as well as your feet, lilac will add a splash of summertime colour to your look or just add a final flourish to an already bright style.

Top tip: don't hesitate to mix and match lilac nail polish with other shades for a multi-coloured manicure (or pedicure)!
