Who likes Karen Gillan's pretty pout?
"Doctor Who" star Karen Gillan all but seduced the audience at the sci-fi show's panel during the 2012 Comic-Con in San Diego.
After all, this year's Comic-Con might well have been the fans' last chance to grill the actress about her adventures with the Doctor... her character, Amy Pond, will be written out of the show alongside Rory Williams (AKA Arthur Darvill).
Karen answered questions about everything from Daleks to pianos with fellow actors Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill and producers Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner.
Wait... Daleks?
For those of you have not yet become addicted to the Who-meister, Daleks are aliens with plunger-like noses bent on taking over the universe.
Ok... so... pianos?
Fact: not only has Karen Gillan played the Doctor's companion for the last three years, she is also a classical pianist.
A red-headed role model
Many Karen Gillan fans turned up to the Doctor Who panel sporting long ginger wigs in order to pay hommage to one of their favourite actresses. Considering her gorgeous long red hair, it isn't difficult to see why many people like to imitate her.
At one point the actress joked "Power to the gingers!" to the other red-heads in her midst.
Her own long red hair fell past her shoulders in soft waves and she had a fringe which swept just past her eyes on each side, framing her green eyes and bee-stung lips. She looked absolutely charming.
Pouty perfection
Karen Gillan recently starred as the supermodel Jean Shrimpton in a TV film called "We'll take Manhattan". The film portrayed the relationship between fashion photographer David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton as they made a trip to New York in the sixties. Karen certainly knows how to pose, or rather pout, for a photograph.
At the Comic-Con event the Karen's sultry gaze was defined by her deep red lipstick as she listened to what the "Doctor Who" fans had to say. Needless to say, her lipstick contrasted fantastically with her trademark hair.
To intensify the look she outlined her eyes with black kohl and wore a touch of rose blusher to compliment her red lips. It's a classic make-up look that works for any occasion.
Karen Gillan proves that sometimes all you need is a really good lipstick.
Although a time lord could come in handy, too.
