Who is Nicholas Hoult? Clue: Jennifer Lawrence's ex-boyfriend
Jennifer Lawrence's ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult was putting on a brave face, despite his recent split with the Oscar-winning actress (the pair split last month after dating for two years.) Yet Nick was all smiles and blue eyes when he attended the premiere of his latest flick "Jack The Giant Slayer" on Tuesday.
The British heartthrob posed for photos, dressed up to the nines alongside his co-star, Eleanor Tomlinson, and signed autographs for waiting fans. Nicholas and Jenn have remained friends and he has publicly praised the star for her Oscar win.
"I'm very proud of her," he explained in an interview. "It's a great film and she's fantastic in it, so I'm very happy for her."
Distracted with work
They say distraction helps you get over heartbreak and he certainly has been busy this year. His film "Warm Bodies" came out earlier this month and he will also star in the high octane "Mad Max: Fury Road," which comes out later this year.
Nicholas shot to fame in 2002 when he starred alongside Hugh Grant in "About a Boy". The role won him a Phoenix Film Critics Society Award and two nominations as well as international stardom.
Nicholas went onto appear in numerous films and TV shows including "Skins" and "Clash of the Titans" and he has now blossomed into his adult self. He will be reunited with his X-Men co-stars (including Jennifer) for the latest installment of the film franchise in the very near future.
Unfortunately, acting is not Nicholas' first career choice.
"The thing I really wanted to be was a dolphin..." he admitted to The Telegraph. "I thought that would be the coolest thing and was completely, completely committed to that for some time."
So if he gets a call from Seaworld, he'll be off!
