What make-up should I wear with a brightly coloured dress?
On 6 July 2012, the Italian muse Bianca Balti opened the exhibition "Scenes from a fashion fairytale," a collection of 40-some portraits taken throughout her career in Rome.
For this occasion, she wore a wonderfully bright blue and yellow dress. As usual, the beauty look she wore suited the dress perfectly.

A lesson in the art of make-up
The key to pairing a beauty look with bright colours is to keep the other aspects of your look simple and classy .
Bianca Balti put her hair up in a high ponytail, which was tied tightly. This did the job perfectly: it kept her hair off her face and allowed us to see her pretty beauty look and bright dress.
To begin with, the model applied a dab of BB cream for a glowing complexion, and for a lightly sun-kissed look she dusted some bronzing powder onto her face. To make her eyes look bigger and brighter she added some white eyeshadow to the inner corners of her eyes, and created a doe-eyed look with a flick of black eyeliner and no mascara. The final touch to this glamorous and subtle beauty look was a natural shade of gloss.Take a page out of Bianca Balti's book... or shall we say fairytale?
