As some of America's greatest TV stars gathered in Beverly Hills last night, top model Tyra Banks rocked the red carpet in traditional Tyra fashion...

The reality TV queen and model strutted her stuff in front of the cameras, sporting a one-shouldered little black dress with heels to match. It was a classic-red carpet look for a red carpet professional.

Tyra picked a smoldering beauty look to go with her outfit. Never one to miss a beauty trend, Tyra Banks wisely chose a smokey eye make-up style for an intense look... And we all know that Tyra is nothing if not intense!

Tyra's take on the smokey eye was achieved with sweeping brown eyeshadow on her eyelids that reached to just below her eyebrows. Next, she applied the same dark brown shade under her lower lashlines. Tyra then traced a thick line of black eyeliner over her upper lashlines, applied black kohl to her lower lashlines and finished her eyes off with flicks of black mascara.

A smooth foundation evened out Tyra's skin and she also applied some rose-coloured blush. Tyra completed her make-up with a nude lipstick[/article]. Not only did this ensure that she was right on trend, it also balanced out the star's heavy eye make-up perfectly.
