Wow, centre partings really are everywhere these days.

That's right, centre partings are making a comeback and we saw lots of them at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego.

While glossy healthy locks never go out of fashion, parting styles vary. For some time, it has been all about side-partings on the red carpet. But like any classic look, the centre parting has made a triumphant return for this summer. We love it!

The Comic what?

The Comic-Con or the Comic Book Convention is an annual four-day event (Thursday-Sunday) during the summer. The event helps showcase comic books, science fiction films, collectable cards, video games and fantasy novels. It is the largest event of its kind in America and the fourth largest in the world.

None of the ladies on the red carpet were rocking capes but they all had super tresses and we loved how shiny they keep their locks. Let's take a look at some of their styles.

Ashley Greene rocks flowing waves with her centre-part

"Twilight" actress Ashley Greene had her chocolate tresses in flowing soft waves, contrasting brilliantly against the white dress she chose. She accessorised the sleeveless frock with a thin tan belt and co-ordinating tan sandals.

Make-up wise, she went for a ruby trio, combining red toe and fingernails with glamorous red lipstick. She chose natural foundation and smokey eyes and tinted eyebrows finished the fabulous look.

Elizabeth Reaser's feathered 'do

Elizabeth Reaser joined her "Twilight" co-star and also went for a centre-parting, though she had her loose locks in a feathered style, which framed her face. She wore a pin-striped playsuit with long sleeves. The starlet went for natural foundation, a hint of eyeliner and this summer's trend, nude lipstick.

Mila Kunis' straight tresses

"Ted" actress Mila Kunis also rocked a centre-part when she hit the red carpet. She sported her chestnut tresses blown straight and cascading round her face. She paired the style with a black blazer and top combination and stretch jeans.

The look centerstage

We have seen Keira Knightley, Clemence Poesy and Ulyana Sergeenko all rocking centre-partings this season. No doubt over the next few months we will see it much more.

So if you want to be bang on trend this summer, get your comb out and rock that centre part!
