Rita Ora at V Festival
British born singer Rita Ora was among the headline acts at this weekend's V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex. The star is due to release her debut album "ORA" on 27 August and is currently touring the UK before hitting the states in September.
Stand-out stage style
Her performance at V Fest was a blinder. The pint-sized songstress bounced around the stage in a blue and red dress with a V neck (how appropriate!) with some eye-catching red fringe detail. It's one of the oldest tricks in the book: wear something that will bounce, flutter and flap around with you because that way even the people right at the back won't be able to miss you. Rita's particular take on this theory is one of our favourites so far.
Beauty that gets noticed
To match her blue and red ensemble, Rita chose a glam, stage-proof beauty look. Her shoulder-length blond hair was styled into soft waves with a side-swept fringe, a look that Marilyn would be proud of!
Rita went for black eyeliner in a cat-flick style, silver eyesahdow and mascara to empghasise her eyes. To complete her look, this stylish lady went for a bright red lipstick to match the fringe of her dress. Bright lips are another great way to make your look stand out, especially of you're singing to a crowd of thousands (nevermind the big screens)!
On a roll
Rita Ora has worked with Will.I.Am, DJ Fresh and Tinie Tempah (to name a few) and she's been a big hit on both sides of the Atltantic too. The star is also being featured on Vogue's UK website everyday this month, letting readers know what she's wearing from one day to the next.
Not only is Rita Ora set to become a global pop sensation, she's also well on her way to becoming a style icon sometime pretty soon!
