Peace Out, Pixie!
Pixie Lott made a pretty headliner for the Peace One Day concert at Ebrington Square, Londonderry, London on 21 June 2012.
Dressed demurely in a fun printed dress, Pixie kick started the London 2012 Festival, a 12-week UK-wide celebration featuring leading artists from around the world. The series of concerts will lead up to the grand celebration of Peace Day on 21 September 2012 when Elton John will headline in London.
On the event's web site, it states that music is one of the key tools used to raise awareness about Peace Day and the Global Truce campaign.
"Awareness creates action and action will save lives," the Web site reads.
Other headliners for the Peace One Day are Newton Faulkner and Imelda May. Also on hand was host Jude Law ! The concert was held at former military barracks that has been transformed into a shared arts space in the heart of the city.
"The square, which was Ebrington Barracks, which housed soldiers, is now housing beautiful music," the Festival's founder, Jeremy Gilley, said to the Belfast Telegraph. "You could not be in a better location."
Pixie's look
Pixie was looking lovely for this concert. She wore a delicate printed dress with a white collar and slightly flared sleeves also edged in white. While the dress was conservative on top, it was both sweet... and short! The short cut kept retro from turning dowdy... not that Pixie could be dowdy!
Especially not with her platinum locks, heavy eye-make-up and winning smile... which combined to make her quite the little starlet on stage!
