Radically transformed since her public debut, the star has overcome her many style demons and shows us that anyone can do so!
The "Simple" Nicole
When the world first discovered Nicole Richie in 2003, she formed a hilarious duo with her best friend at the time, Paris Hilton, in the reality TV show "The Simple Life". At the time, the two stars were eachother's fashion and beauty alter egos.
Nicole, the daughter of Lionel Richie, used and abused self-tanners, hair extensions and overly colourful make-up.
Rachel redo
In 2005, Nicole Richie crossed paths with the stylist Rachel Zoe, who ordered her to go back to the basics.
The star then adopted a radically different style, rocking a new bohemian look.
The chop
Nicole Richie decided to complete her transformation by cutting her hair into a smooth bob. She also limited her make-up to the bare essentials, just highlighting her lovely green eyes with a thick line of eyeliner. She now applies make-up reasonably, reserving smokey eyes, red lipstick and bronze blusher for evening looks.
For her hairstyle, the (now) beautiful Nicole dares more stylized buns, ponytails and other elegant waves. Her smooth and silky hair is always the perfect colour, which is a pleasant and welcome change.
The star is slowly becoming an icon, for beauty as well as style.
