Model Chrissy Teigen and fiancé singer John Legend: What to wear to the Lakers-Nets game
Model Chrissy Teigen and her fiance singer John Legend cozied up to watch the Los Angeles Lakers play the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center in New York City.
Chrissy herself is a sporty lass: she made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2010. That said, even that may be just a pretty little lie: while Teigen has posed in many a swimsuit for many a shoot, Fox and Friends reported that she is terrified of swimming.
She was clearly a little bored by the lack of action between the Lakers and the Nets, tweeting: "My analysis is that there are.. no baskets being made."
Bored though she may have been, Chrissy looked lovely. She went with a much less casual look than Beyoncé's style at a recent game: she looked ready for a meeting whilst cheering on the team in a white pantsuit. While this reflects a recent celebrity trend to wear white all winter, one better hope that no one had spilled blue raspberry slushie on the bleachers. With her hair swept up in a XXL bun, deep red nails and a face full of make-up, Chrissy felt confident enough to wave at the paparazzi. John looked like his traditional, classic self (his stage name is in honour of his sound, which is "like that of the legends") in a black turtle neck and classic pants. I mean, it was also a look fit for a meeting.
Oh that couple. Sometimes you just want to see them let down their hair a little. Sweatpants? Never.
In the end, the Lakers defeated the Nets 92-83. Chrissy seemed pissed. She was later ranting on Twitter about how she couldn't find spinach in any grocery store. Misplaced anger, much? Poor kid working at the grocery store...
