Well, we don't know if Leona Lewis has anybody in particular that she wants to impress back at home but she certainly pulled out all the stops when she returned home to Hackney this weekend.
Hackney is home ground for singer and X Factor winner Leona Lewis, who said she felt honoured to open Radio 1's Hackney Weekend.
"I swear half the audience was my friends and family," the girl from Islington told the Huffington Post.
Sporting a glam up-do and wearing only the most in-style fashion and make-up, Leona must have impressed the home crowd!
High bun
All of Britain's stars are going with big-volume high chignons this summer and Leona Lewis isn't one to miss out on a trend!
For Saturday's concert, she pulled her dark locks into a glamorous high bun chignon. Not only is this hairstyle elegant... it is also practical for a dance-heavy concert! Leona's return to her natural dark locks are a change for the singer, who has kept her hair blonde for most of her videos.
Leona's high hairstyle let our gaze fall on her pretty face and her elegant make-up! Leona often amps up the bronzer but she went with a paler shade of foundation for the Hackney weekend, setting it off with a rosy tone of blusher under her cheekbones. She went with simple eye make-up, bringing out her eyes with a bold line of cat-flick eye-liner and perfectly shaped long lashes.
She finished off her beauty look with popping colour touches: neon yellow nails and bright pink lipstick! Both are must-dos this summer!
