Lea Michele on the cover of NYLON's September issue

2012 has definitely been a successful year so far for Lea Michele. After winning numerous awards for her star performances, the actress still manages to pursue a budding romance with Cory Monteith whilst sporting a myriad sexy looks. Now, she is grabbing the attention of some big glossy magazines.

September issue, otherwise known as THE most important issue which predicts trends for the upcoming year and launches the autumn/winter season. Lucky for us, the lovely Lea Michele was selected by Nylon to be their cover girl.

In her interview with the mag, the 25-year-old admits to being a workaholic and even reveals the tone of her upcoming solo album (hedonistic and feminist, she says) and how she hopes to shock the public and raise awareness of some of today's greater issues. Perhaps that explains her provocative style...

Behind her sex appeal

A total bombshell, the "Glee" star donned a sweatshirt and a pair of knee-high socks and topped off her look with a rhinestone cat-ear headband. The purrrfect cheap and chic combo!

For her beauty look, Lea Michele highlighted her brown eyes with a matte brown eyeshadow under her eyes. She finished off her look with black mascara and matching eyeliner. The beauty also evened out her complexion with foundation and opted for a nude matte lipstick for a minimal look. Her long, wavy brown hair sat on her shoulders and her choppy fringe framed her sultry gaze. A total success in our book!
