Lea Michele: covergirl and NEW L'Oreal spokesperson
A group of mismatched nerdy teenagers with bad haircuts and even worse dress sense hit our screens in 2009 and had us dancing round the living room and singing along like we were auditioning for "The X Factor," the musical. Their endearing onscreen personas and captivating voices won our hearts and in short, "Glee" became an instant hit.
At the forefront of this mismatched choir was Rachel (AKA Lea Michele) and we accepted her as a charming and talented geek. But while onscreen she channels all that is geeky, the off-screen version of Lea Michele is glamorous as can be.
On 15 September at her party in LA, she pulled off yet another stylish look.
The "Glee" actress, who will be on the cover of the September issue of NYLON magazine, celebrated her first cover shoot rocking a one-shouldered floor-length gown. The gown, in a rich emerald hue, featured flower embellishments and gathered waist. She paired it with pink peep toe heels and a big smile. Her straight chestnut tresses tumbled across her shoulders and extra-long lashes peeped out from under her trademark fringe.
The starlet was obviously excited about her party. She tweeted: '"In the car on the way to Mr C for my @NylonMag launch party! With my girls Nicole and @switchbh!!"
Our newest face
But the news that truly proves Lea has finally shaken off her geeky persona is that she will be the newest face of L'Oreal. We are pleased to welcome her. Yep, you read it right! Lea will appear in our ad campaign at the end of September.
