Kristen Stewart: A chic ponytail at private On The Road screening

Kristen Stewart has definitely been making the most of her snazzy red-carpet wardrobe lately, what with "Breaking Dawn" premieres, "On the Road" screenings and photocalls galore. Before you breathe a sigh of relief and allow yourself to believe that she has maybe just considered going into hibernation, take a look at this leather and lace ensemble... complete with sexy ponytail.

Ponytails are the go-to hairstyle for anyone who is in a rush, can't be bothered with a complicated 'do or just wants a simple, chic look... or, as is usually the case, all three. Kristen Stewart tends to keep her style on the laid back chic side of things. So this latest excursion into the land of pretty ponytails isn't exactly a shock. In fact, we've seen K-Stew with a ponytail on a number of occasions. She even went for a messy dread-style pony once.

You can usually bet Kristen'll go for some kind of smokey-eye make-up to go with her ponytail, too. Funnily enough, at the last "On The Road" screening we saw her at, she went smokier than usual – it looked like she had, at one point, actually been on fire.

Ponytails, like Christmas, are EVERYWHERE

Other ponytail ambassadors include Gwyneth Paltrow who went for a poker-straight style, Lauren Bailey who chose a romantic wavy pony, Kristin Cavallari whose look was decidedly cheerleader chic and Kate Middleton who... well, looked like Kate Middleton.

That lot are just the tip of the well-coiffed iceberg, though. It seems as though easy peasy lazy hairstyles are IN. Thank goodness for that. I'd love to put my styling products in hibernation... just like K-Stew.
