Kelly Osbourne rocks the purple combination

Kelly Osborne took the fuschian frenzy to the next level when she pranced onto the red carpet at the "Crazy Horse" premiere in London yesterday sporting an eccentric but fully co-ordinated look. Move over, Nicki Minaj!

The purple combination

Kelly arrived rocking purpley-grey tresses with matching purple lips. The designer/ singer/ actress is known for her crazy style and unique fashion sense... but this was definitely an eyebrow raiser.

While her hair and lipstick were wild, the rest of her make-up was tame. She wore just a touch of eyeliner, paired with natural foundation. The hair gave her a more mature look, as did her combination of a wool monochrome coat and black leggings. Kelly accessorised the look with a large black bag.

On trend

Kelly's hair fits in nicely with the current trend of statement looks like heavy eyeliner and intense eyes, and, although it aged her, she pulled it off because it was a well-coordinated outfit. Also... let's face it, how often do we see someone match their lips to their hair?

During New York Fashion Week, Kelly created quite a stir when she hit the red carpet rocking a yellow, orange and pink outfit, yellow shades and a very creative ice cream-style towering bun.

Adventurous

We think it's fair to say that Kelly is not afraid to try new things and that she enjoys switching up her look. She has had that purple hair for a while now, but while many people might be a bit apprehensive about what to wear with such a bold colour, Kell takes it in her stride and somehow manages to pull it off!

Katy Perry also favours purple locks and Jessie J was snapped rocking a purple wig with a matching cat suit recently, so there's a chance this could be a future trend... so go on, take the plunge and go purple!
