Kate or Cheryl? Which British darling wears the style for you?
The Diamond Jubilee is over now but the celebrations allowed our British stars to sparkle like the gems they are. Two of our favourite sweethearts attended the celebrations: Kate Middleton and Cheryl Cole and both looked stunning.
Kate is classic while Cheryl is experimental
The ladies might both be brunettes but their styles are completely different. Kate's style is very regal and classically vintage. She has a thing for fascinators, classic cuts and elegant styles, whereas Cheryl rocks a more daring wardrobe with low cut dresses, glitzy jewellery and big trains (as we saw at the Jubilee concert and in Cannes .)
Cheryl experiments with her hair a lot, one day she will wear a ponytail the next a braided chignon. But Kate keeps it simple letting her locks flow free or in a half up half down style to compliment her beloved fascinators.
Both of them always look amazing yet Kate is a classic English Rose where Cheryl is a fiery English diva.
Retro Kate or sexy Cheryl: which one is for you?
If you are looking for inspiration from one of the style icons decide whether you are an English rose or diva. Style often reflects personality. If you consider yourself more of an adventurous diva then Cheryl's look could work well on you but if you prefer elegant to sexy then Kate's retro style might be more up your street.
To get Kate's look go for dresses and skirts with classic cuts, pleats, high necks and lace and don't forget the fascinator. Accessorise with court shoes and pearls. Wear nude lipstick and natural make-up.
To get Cheryl's style choose low cut frocks with big trains and strapless cocktail dresses with sequins. Accessorise with killer heels and sparkling jewellery. Smokey eyes are Cheryl's favourite and she is rarely seen without them. So make sure you always have mascara, liquid eye-liner and dark blue eye shadow in your make-up bag.
