Kate Middleton wins our gold medal for elegance
Kate Middleton has been showing her support for our amazing athletes at the Olympics since it kicked off and surprisingly, she has been rocking quite a sporty get-up to several events.
The Duchess, who normally favours fascinators and retro clobber, rocked skinny jeans and a Union Jack-clad polo shirt during the run-up and has been snapped several times this week supporting team GB in, very fitting (and patriotic), sporty threads. And we have to say it really suits her: let's face it anyone who can make a polo shirt look chic has got pizzazz!
Always elegant
Kate's look hasn't been restricted solely to casual outfits though. She's still wearing her blazers and snazzy blouses for a few events and has graced a few red carpets in her typical elegant style.
She hasn't changed her hair much this week (besides the odd ponytail here and there) despite the fact she's ditched her beloved fascinators. Kate has kept it simple with her usual flowing style: tumbling waves and side-parting.
But she did sweep it up for the Laser Radial medal race in her familiar half-up, half-down 'do.
Style queen
Kate knows exactly what to wear for every occasion and is a style queen (as well as a real-life princess). While she knows how she likes her hair and generally sticks to it, she is versatile when it comes to certain style choices. Kate is no doubt enjoying the show, day after day at the Olympics, as she is an avid sportswoman herself. She put Harry and Will to shame when they were playing sports at a schoool in East London a few weeks ago.
Consistently chic
She has kept her make-up classic and pretty throughout the Olympics, opting for her usual nude lipstick, a touch of eyeliner and natural foundation. Not much changes with Kate style-wise, but while she isn't the most adventurous stylista, when it comes to style she does always looks incredible!
