Kate Middleton's all-in-white look: what make-up suits this style?
Kate Middleton is our inspiration for the beauty look of the day. The Duchess of Cambridge looked absolutely radiant as she watched her husband, Prince William, in the Order of the Garter procession at Windsor Castle on 18 June 2012.
Kate, Kate, Kate!
Kate Middleton delights us every time we see her, proving her originality and class with every outfit she chooses. She is, as ever, a disciple of Alexander McQueen, and wore one of his white dresses, which was cut like a blazer at the top, with lapels and buttons, and a flared-out skirt at the bottom.
But it can be hard to wear white , even if it is a summer must-have! Not only do you have to be super careful about stains ("Uh, I'll pass on the sangria") but you have to know what make-up to wear.
Our make-up advice
During the day, opt for a glowing complexion, glossy lips and smokey eyes. During the evening, make sure your skin is flawless and glows without looking shiny, and choose a vermillion red lipstick.
Our princess's look
Kate wore her usual simple beauty look. As the future queen, she can't let herself get carried away!
The Duchess of Cambridge accessorised her all-white outfit with a small hat and a clutch, also in white, and some nude-coloured heels. She used natural foundation on her face, which she livened up with a sweeping of pink blush, a light pink lipstick and a touch of black eye-liner and mascara.
