Kate and Pippa: beauty and charm at Wimbledon final
On 8 July 2012, the British social elite were out in force to cheer on Andy Murray as he battled it out with the now seven-times Wimbledon Champion Roger Federer. Among them were Kate and Pippa Middleton. Although Murray lost the match to the world number one, the two sisters kept smiling as this year's Wimbledon tournament came to an end.
Elegant as ever
The Duchess of Cambridge was as elegant as ever. To compliment her beige dress, Kate opted for her tried-and-tested make-up look, focusing on her dark eyes.
She applied black kohl around her eyes with brown eyeshadow on her upper eyelids. She chose a black mascara to elongate her lashes. Keeping the rest of her look quite natural, she applied a matte foundation and a touch of rose blusher. She finished her look with a pale rose lipstick.
Kate chose a beautiful hairstyle to go with her dress and make-up. Her long brown hair was left down, parted slightly off-centre and curled at the ends, another Kate-classic.
The princess was as sophisticated and chic as ever.
Little sister's lookin' good
Pippa's look was every bit as elegant as Kate's. Pippa chose a light blue dress for the occasion, providing a bit of colour next to her sister's beige ensemble. Pippa Middleton's make-up look wasn't dissimilar to Kate's. Her eyes were also outlined with kohl, however, Pippa went for a slightly darker eyeshadow and an apricot blusher. That's where the differences end, as Pippa too went for a rose lipstick.
Pippa's hair was also similar to Kate's, if a shade or two darker. Perfectly coiffed, her hair fell to her shoulders and was also curled slightly at the ends. The most noticable difference between the sisters (as far as hair and beauty go) is that their partings go in opposite directions, adding a great sense to symmetry to the royal box on Sunday afternoon.
The two beautiful Middleton sisters made a charming addition to the mens final at Wimbledon this year.
