J.Lo's sparkly on-stage style
The actress, singer, TV star and L'Oréal ambassador celebrates her 43rd birthday today. With a fifteen-year film career and simultaneous music career behind her, Jennifer Lopez has always known how to put on a good show.
On 21 July in Newark, USA, the diva owned the stage in a flurry of sequins, feathers and a whole troupe of male dancers.
Following her dramatic exit from "American Idol", J.Lo has kicked off the North American leg of her "Dance Again" world tour, accompanied by Latino superstar Enrique Inglesias.
In true J.Lo fashion, the "American Idol" drama is now well and truly behind her as she gets back to what she's best at, busting some impressive moves in some of the world's biggest concert venues.

Show-stopping style
J.Lo descended on to the stage in Newark clad in white feathers and more sparkles than you could shake your own cane at. She looked as though she had been dipped in stardust, but it's more likely that she had been sewn into the impressive sparkly bodysuit...
For the purposes of pulling off some killer dance moves, the glitzy outfit was perfect. She even had heels to match. J.Lo literally gleamed as she strutted around the stage, wowing fans with performances of classic hits such as "Get Right", as well as a selection from her latest album.
A stage-perfect beauty look
J.Lo's on-stage beauty look was all about the volume. If it was difficult not to look at her glittery outfit, it was impossible to ignore her hair, or should we say lion's mane.
The singer's long brown hair was wild and wavy, flying about behind her during the energetic dance routines.
Anyone for more shimmer?
Jen's stage make-up was also quite a feat, mostly because it survived the whole show and looked fantastic at the same time.
Keeping with the sparkly theme, J.Lo wore a shimmery silver eyeshadow, after all this show is all about the shimmer.
To emphasise her eyes, she whipped on the black eyeliner, finishing with black mascara. Apart from her steadfast foundation, Jennifer Lopez completed her look with a rose pink lipstick.
One thing is certain: J.Lo's look makes for a great party-hard style.
