When Cheryl Cole stepped onto the Cannes red carpet last night, the cameramen (and fans!) went crazy.

Wearing a stunning Stephane Rolland dress, white on top and scarlet on the bottom, she seemed to burst forth from the red carpet... an angelic vision of beauty and grace.

Her look played on striking contrasts, innocence and experience, sweetness and sexiness...

Smouldering gaze

Last night, all eyes were on Cheryl's eyes. Already an adept of the smokey eyed look, Cheryl went all out last night with a gaze both endless and eternal... literally!

Her stylists blended together delicious shades of endless chocolate eyeshadow with eternal black eyeshadow (once again, showing Cheryl's sweet and powerful sides!)

Next, her already long eyelashes were lengthened using a telescopic mascara.

Angel kisses

Just as Cheryl's eyes are blazing, her lips are soft and delicate, creating a perfect balance (an intense lipstick would just be too much.)

Instead, Cheryl's stylists went with a caresse of nude colouring for her lips. The final touch? Gloss, obviously!
