How to do a twisted ponytail

Necessary items

To create this hairstyle, you will need:

- Some hair grips

- A brush

- A comb

- Hairspray

Step 1

Start by brushing your hair (ideally with a boar bristle brush) so as to avoid any static build-up.

Step 2

With a fine-tooth comb, separate the bottom section of your hair from the top layers and tie this bottom section in a low ponytail. Divide the rest of your hair into two sections.

Step 3

For extra volume, backcomb the sections of hair at the sides. Twist the left-hand section and pin it to your ponytail with some hair grips, then do the same with the right-hand side.

Step 4

Spray a large misting of hairspray over your sophisticated ponytail to make sure that it stays in place all day.
