Hair tutorial: 2013 Cannes jury member Nicole Kidman dazzles with a braided bun hairstyle
We've seen quite a creative array of hairstyles from jury member Nicole Kidman on the red carpet at this year's edition of the Cannes International Film Festival.
From her messily romantic chignon at the first photo call to her several bouffant styles, she has tried them all.
But perhaps our favourite so far is the delicate braided chignon that she wore in her blonde hair for the premiere of "Venus in Fur." In the front, her chignon looked slightly tousled, with a mini-quiff in the front. In the back, it was a dizzying spiral.
Sure, it may have been just a hairstyle, but it was also so complicated that it was like an accessory in itself! Her dress was long, white and simple, so the hairstyle's intricacy contrasted well.
If you dare, here's how you can do one yourself!
Step one: Begin by making a small ponytail at the centre of the back of your head, leaving hair loose on all sides. This is just a way to separate the hair for later.
Step two: Next, begin a french braid just behind your ears. Instead of adding hair to both sides of the braid, like with a normal french braid, just add to one side.
Step three: Braid across the back of your head, then down the opposite side from where you started. Then, braid under your mini ponytail.
Step four: When you return back to the side you started on, let down the ponytail and keep braiding in aspiral shape.
Step five: When you have gathered all the hair on your head into your french braid, just keep braiding normally, holding the hair so that you keep braiding in a circle (this gives your braid the right shape for when you grab some bobby pins and pin it to the back of your head in the spiral shape.)
Step six: Add a lick of hairspray!
Nicole Kidman has one more Cannes appearance left... at the closing ceremonies to this year's edition of the festival. How will she manage to top this hairdo? Tune in to find out! (We're on scene to bring you all about the beauty from Cannes!)
