Victoria's Secret have been helping to raise money for Cancer Research by putting some of their top models on exercise bikes.

Summer has arrived (in New York at least) so what better way to get a bit of exercise in than a leisurely bike ride? Well maybe not that leisurely...

Doutzen Kroes: supermodel cyclist

Doutzen Kroes was among the cycling beauties, enjoying her workout in front of the cameras.

The supermodel wasn't wearing much make-up, keeping it fresh by wearing a bit of eyeliner for an exercise-proof cat-eye look. The key to her glow was her pretty smile and all the endorphins from the exercise.

Get moving like Doutzen this summer

We all know that exercise is great: it lifts your mood, increases your energy and reduces the threat of illness. So why not take a leaf out of Doutzen's book and jump on a bike yourself?

Whatever your sporting style, there's something for you:

Cycling isn't your only option, there are plenty of ways to exercise, whatever your time or budget constraints. Here are a few ideas:

Hit the gym: A great way to break up a day spent behind a desk, or just to burn off any stress.

Go for a run: It's free, it's outside and you can do it whenever you want, for as long as you want.

Jump in the pool: Swimming is a cheap way of exercising every muscle in your body and another great way to de-stress. Better still there's often a sauna or jacuzzi to enjoy as well!

Join a class: Zumba has taken the exercise world by storm, it's great fun and something you can do with a friend or three. If you don't have the extra cash for classes, there are always DVDs, get your friends round and do it in front of the TV instead.

Join a sports team: If you were good at a sport at school, maybe there's a local team you can join. You'll make new friends, get fitter and maybe even win something.

Whatever exercise suits you best, you'll be happier and healthier in no time. Go on, get moving like Doutzen this summer!
