Eva Longoria: 1 red carpet, 2 LBDs
Eva Longoria played host to the ALMA awards on Saturday night and, in traditional hostess style, underwent several costume changes throughout the evening. The actress has hosted the event for the last six years. Her co-host this year was George Lopez.
The ALMA awards celebrate the best of Latin American cinema, television, music and design.
Style switcheroo
Eva really pulled out all the wardrobe stops. She wore six different outfits throughout the evening-- two of which appeared on the red carpet. We got way more Hollywood glamour than we bargained for from Eva Longoria!
The "Desperate Housewives" star clearly understood the value of a good LBD (as in, long black dress) because she wore two on the red carpet at the ALMA awards...
LDB N° uno:
Eva's first red-carpet look was a high-necked, silk number with short sleeves. It was reminiscent of Rachel McAdams' Victorian-inspired look in Toronto last week.
It's a style that has been chic for over a century: high neckline, cinched waist and a floor-length skirt.
Eva's beauty look was another long-standing classic: smokey eyes and nude lips. To complete her timeless look, the star went for a high chignon that would have looked equally as elegant in the 1890s, or 1960s for that matter, as it did last weekend.
LBD N° dos:
Round two of Eva's little black dress game involved a strapless gown, complete with slinky mesh panels. Eva's make-up was unchanged for this second appearance, but her hair was let loose, flowing over one shoulder in some well-set Hollywood waves.
It didn't surprise us to see that George Lopez had practically fallen at her feet!
