Demi Lovato's funky dip-dye

The gorgeous Demi Lovato has been fairly quiet on our screens recently, but that is not because she is out of work! Far from it in fact: the actress and singer has been busy as a judge in season 2 of the American X Factor.

Perfect outfit

At the show's auditions in San Francisco, Demi Lovato worked her magic in front of the cameras for the photo call. Dressed for the occasion in a short black dress with daring sheer chiffon details, the star was ravishing with a short tie-dye jacket to match.

Fresh-faced Demi

Demi Lovato kept her make-up simple, starting with an even complexion created using a foundation a shade lighter than her skin tone, followed by a dusting of bronzer across the cheekbones to add definition to her face. To bring out her luscious caramel eyes, the young Hollywood star applied a delicate line of eye-liner and a lick of black mascara. Her pink nude lipstick is the perfect complement to this fresh-faced look.

Trendy and funky hair

As for her hair, Demi got it spot on with a simple, pretty pony-tail placed high on her head. A piece of hair wrapped around the ponytail to conceal the hair band adds a clever touch of glamour. The successful 19-year-old was also sporting the latest dip-dye colour trend, a colouring technique which dyes only the ends of the hair. This starlet went for a funky bright pink.
