Deauville 2011: Elisa Sednaoui's statement headband
Elisa Sednaoui is a Franco-Italian actress known the world over both for her films and her style. This year's Deauville American Film Festival is fast approaching, so we thought we'd take a look back at Elisa's great style on the red carpet at Deauville in 2011.
The little black dress
On 7 September 2011, Elisa Sednaoui arrived for the showing of the film "The Conspirator" dressed in a shimmering black dress with a pleated skirt. She chose a classic look and matched it with an impressive pair of black platformed heels.
The perfect hair accessory
The most memorable part of her look was the black and white beaded headband that she chose. Elisa chose well: this carefully selected accessory complemented the light sparkle of her dress perfectly.
The headband was placed over Elisa's gorgeous low-key hairdo.
Her long, sleek, brown hair was left down and parted in the middle. Combined with the headband, Elisa's hair gave her red-carpet look a slight hippy twist.
A great make-up look to match
To emphasise her green eyes (and of course her fantastic headband), Elisa chose a simple and elegant make-up look.
She used a simple matte foundation and applied a light dusting of bronzer. She highlighted her eyes with a slimline cat-eye look, for which she used black eyeliner and a lash-lengthening mascara. She chose a natural lipstick to finish off her understated look.
