Cheryl Cole, Britain's darling
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee festivities got off to a fine start on 2 June with the traditional cannon salute. This was the occasion for Great Britain to celebrate the sixty-year reign of their sovereign, and who better to help do this than the darling Cheryl Cole?
At a spectacular concert on the evening of 4 June in front of Buckingham Palace, the star duetted with Gary Barlow in front of more than 250,000 very excited fans. She wore a long bustier dress covered in black sequins, transforming her into a stunning siren.
Cheryl's pony-tail
Cheryl wore her hair in a high pony-tail, which she had lightly backcombed for extra volume. The bouncy style was the perfect balance between the natural look and sophistication.
Cheryl's Egyptian eyes
Cheryl decided to go for Egyptian-style eye make-up as part of her beauty look. The singer drew thick lines of kohl onto her eyes, then smudged the outer corners outwards for a smokey look. A touch of eye-liner and some lengthening mascara and she was ready to sing for the Queen.
The radiant Cheryl Cole gave the British a show they'll never forget!
