Bianca Balti: Scenes from a fashion fairytale

Now, forty-one of her most stunning portraits are on display in a special exhibition at the Mercati de Traiano- Museo Dei Fori Imperiali in Rome.
The exhibition, titled "Bianca Balti. Scenes from a fashion fairytale" will run from 7 July to 2 September 2012.
The fairy tale
Bianca Balti's career really took off in 2005 when she was chosen as the new face of Dolce & Gabbana. From that point onward, her career continued to evolve as she posed for such greats as Patrick Demarchelier, Karl Lagerfeld, Txema Yeste, Signe Vilstrup and Dylan Don among others.

This exhibition aims to both celebrate Bianca Balti's dazzling career and to demonstrate the ever-enduring influence of Italian fashion across the globe.
"Scenes from a fashion fairytale" retraces, photo by photo, the professional evolution of Bianca, who some say is the pride and joy of the entire nation.
Organised by Stefano Dominella, the exhibition is part of the "Una Favola di Moda" project, which aims to give Rome a real place in the fashion world.
